Covenant
Covenant means a committed relationship built on a promise.
We live in a world where casual has become normal. Casual relationships. Casual promises. Casual commitment. If something gets difficult, people often feel free to walk away.
But GOD has never been casual about us. ❤️
That is covenant. GOD says, “You are Mine, and I am yours.”
Through Jesus, GOD did not offer us a temporary relationship. He offered us forgiveness, a new life, and ultimately eternity with Him.
Jesus gave His life to establish the covenant.
So our response to Him should be more than casual Christianity. Not GOD when it is convenient. Not prayer only when we need something. Not obedience only when we agree.
Covenant says, I belong to Him. I am committed to Him.
And if we truly understand what GOD has offered us, we should want other people to know Him too.
Our lives should influence somebody else to say, “I want that relationship with GOD too.”
